Sri Duddilla Sridhar Babu

Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industry & Commerce and Legislative Affairs

Sri Duddilla Sridhar Babu currently serves as the Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industry & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs in the Government of Telangana. An alumnus of Delhi University with a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Political Science from Hyderabad Central University, Sridhar Babu has had a distinguished political career marked by significant contributions to public service. He is the son of the late Duddilla Sripada Rao, a distinguished Congress leader and Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly from 1990 to 1994. Before entering politics, Sridhar Babu practiced law at the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Although he initially had no intention of pursuing a political career, he embarked on this path in 1999, shortly after his father’s passing, to continue his father's legacy.
