Mahesg Murthy is the Founder & CEO of Pinstorm. He has spent 30 years helping big brands with marketing and branding inputs, and 14 years helping start-ups with funding too. His 19 years have been digital-intensive.

In 1995, he moved to CKS Partners as CD and Partner, where he helped create the first commercial UI for Yahoo and the now-classic launch campaign for Amazon in 1997.

He returned to India in 1999 to run and turn around Channel V, a rival to MTV, till its sale to Newscorp in 2000, then founded Passionfund to invest in start-ups.

In 2004, he found a need for a tech-driven, digital-first brand management firm � and set up Pinstorm with over 100 people across offices in India, Singapore and Malaysia.

Mahesh teamed with Pravin Gandhi and Bharati Jacob in 2006 to set up Seedfund, voted India's best VC fund in 2010.
